Finished goods supply chain has a dynamic nature and is the backbone of any sales organisation. Some of the departments have to work in coordination to ensure there the finished goods reach the markets and the customers. When a product is announced by marketing team the logistic and supply chain management department  has to work hardly so that the product will be available at the nook and corner of the locality. The non availability of any announced product should never happen.

Logistics teams comprise of of many  centers including inventory planners, freight managers responsible for the transportation and the warehousing operation experts responsible for the inventory and warehousing operations like statuary process compliance and documentation control.

Logistics team has to work in coordination with the finance team, dip requirements team, plants and manage operations through a chain of third party service providers.
