Consumer focused shipments are increasing in the Covid 19 world.
Consumer packaged goods, food and beverage and retail payments are leading the way for shipment and continue to increase the volume for shipments with increase in less than truck load and parcel shipments.
Ecommerce shipments became the choice for consumer as well as contact less delivery and store pick up options. Many of the smaller shipments has seen more gains.
During the Covid 19 LTL shipments are up by 42% and later to 72%.. still the future remains unclear and has to be focused more.it seems like consumer focused shipments continue to be the lever being pulled with supply chain and the logistics operations clearly up to the challenge.
